Pier House Is booked from FRIDAY to FRIDAY through the main holiday season - short breaks (mimimum stay 3 nights) are available during the winter months


Pier House is heated throughout by oil-fired underfloor heating and there is also a multi-fuel stove in the main sitting room. All fuel is supplied.

A landline telephone line with extensions in the hall, sitting room and the master bedroom and a wireless broadband network are available for your use.

The enclosed garden has lovely views of Ben Shieldaig and the top end of Loch Shieldaig. There is a paved patio area with a picnic table and a safe grassy area. There is a walled front garden across the road from The Cottage adjacent to the stony beech. This garden is also used by guests staying in The Cottage and has two picnic table.

There is disabled access to the property and off road parking is available.

The large kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with electric ceramic hob and double oven, microwave oven, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. There is plenty of kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble drier and pulley drier and there is a rotary clothes line in the back garden. Washing up liquid, washing powder and dishwasher tablets are all supplied

There are two sitting rooms - the smaller one downstairs has French doors opening onto the garden and is equipped with a satellite TV and DVD player. The main sitting room is upstairs so as to take advantage of the excellent views up the loch. This has a smart TV and DVD player. There is a good supply of maps, books, games, puzzles and DVDs together with extensive tourist information..

Pier House sleeps 6 in three double bedrooms all of which have excellent views. The beds are made up with 9 tog duvets but 4.5 tog summer weight ones are also available. If wished the two can be joined together to give a 13.5 tog cover. There is a choice of pillows and each room has a hairdryer. There is ample storage including hanging space and luggage racks. Each bedroom has an ensuite shower room.

The master bedroom at the front of the property has a king size bed, internet clock radio and satellite smart TV.

The rear bedroom has a king size bed and a separate full size single bed so could be used by 2 adults wanting separate beds or for a child sharing with parents. There is an internet clock radio.

The downstairs bedroom has a king size bed and an internet clock radio. Its ensuite is a wet room so is ideal for anyone with mobility problems. 

There is also a  family bathroom on the ground floor.

A high chair and travel cot are available on request.

We have a 7kw EV charger which is available to guests staying at The Cottage and Pier House by prior arrangement.

During the main holiday season, April to October, we only accept rentals of 7 nights or more with changeover on Fridays.

Over Christmas and New Year we also only accept a minimum of 7 night bookings but with a negotiable start day.

Short breaks, minimum stay 3 nights, are available from November to March with changeover on any day.
